Bursaries

Considering applying for the October intake? You may be eligible for a 10% bursary through RMIT Training if you’re completing an English pathway into your course! 

Scholarships

RMIT offers a range of scholarships to commencing international students across all fields of study. While many of the scholarships consider academic achievement, there are also scholarships awarded based on what you are studying, where you are from or your personal circumstances.

RMIT Training delivers the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course, which prepares you for success at university by teaching you academic English while developing your skills for independent learning and group work at university.

From 30 June 2023, RMIT will progressively transition all remaining online classes – such as tutorials, workshops, etc – back to face-to-face mode through on campus delivery.

Courses available in the September and October intakes are for applicants with no advanced entry or credits. Applicants with credit exemptions must apply for the February 2024 intake.

Students commencing in October will complete their first semester by January or February 2024 and can join their second semester in February or March 2024.

No. The October intake is open to select full degree courses and is not available to Study Abroad or Exchange students.

Orientation Week starts approximately a week prior to classes commencing. You can find more orientation information on our website. 

Orientation Week is all about helping new students get familiar with RMIT processes, your course and campus, and everything RMIT has to offer. At course inductions during orientation, you will also get to meet your teachers and learn more about your course structure and requirements. There are plenty of social events to explore, where you’ll make new friends, learn more about finding a part-time job and enjoy a free lunch.
