STEM College

The STEM College incorporates the fields of sciences, engineering, computing technologies and health and medical sciences.

Employing more than 1,000 staff, we provide industry relevant programs and exceptional student experience across STEM to approximately 25,000 students both onshore and offshore. Our vibrant research community attracts funding from a range of government and industry sources in support of high impact research that transforms industries, shapes lives and communities.

We are focused on creating innovative and practical solutions to real-life problems; discovering and applying new knowledge and new ways of thinking about the environment and sustainability, health and wellbeing; advanced technologies and digital transformation through research, education and training in collaboration with a wide range of partners.

Schools

There are four schools across two campuses in the STEM College, offering programs that range from certificates through to PhDs.

School of Computing Technologies

The School of Computing Technologies is a centre for digital innovation, world class research, and education in STEM via streamlined collaboration across relevant disciplines.

School of Engineering

We are recognised for our work-relevant education programs, excellent research facilities, creative real-world project work and robust relations with local and international industry leaders.

School of Health and Biomedical Sciences

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences focuses on providing practical solutions to global health issues.

School of Science

The School of Science undertakes high-quality teaching and research across the natural and physical sciences, mathematics and biological sciences disciplines.
