Go global with tons of opportunities to expand your horizons and career prospects overseas.
From study tours to completing a semester or 2 overseas, or exploring our Vietnam campuses, RMIT offers a range of opportunities for you to build your engineering career by giving you global experience.
Study overseas for up to 2 semesters and learn from engineering experts around the world. You’ll have the chance to build industry networks and make friendships that can last a lifetime.
As part of the student exchange program, you can study at one of RMIT’s 150 partner institutions worldwide, while gaining full credit towards your program. Engineering exchange opportunities abound in countries from Colombia to Germany to Japan (plus many more in between).
You can also choose to study abroad at a non-partner institution.
When you return home from studying abroad, you’ll have a competitive edge and an international perspective of engineering.
Cross-campus study in Vietnam
Electronic and computer engineering students can also choose to go on a cross-campus exchange to RMIT Vietnam. Cross-campus study involves a semester or more at our Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi campus. You’ll continue studying on an RMIT campus while enjoying an immersive and cultural experience.
RMIT offers study tours and access to short-term programs in destinations all over the world during semester breaks.
Tours to Asia, Europe and North America, are offered to students from across all disciplines. They provide a unique opportunity for you to combine an overseas travel, with studies focusing on a region or area of study.
