Indigenous Science

The School of Science is committed to respectfully embedding Indigenous Science knowledges and perspectives across our learning, teaching, engagement, and research activities.

In 2024, the Indigenous Science Committee was established to help advance our School’s commitment to Reconciliation and Responsible Practice for both staff and students.

That same year, Indigenous artist Matt Robert created a bespoke artwork representing the School of Science’s ongoing dedication to Indigenous Science. This artwork is featured across Open Day and Orientation activities, and is incorporated into a range of learning, teaching, engagement, and research initiatives within the School.

Staff and students can access further information on the RMIT Indigenous Science SharePoint site.
