RMIT funded scholarships

RMIT offers a range of scholarships to commencing international students across all fields of study.

Scholarships can help with all kinds of study costs such as textbooks, fees, accommodation and living expenses.

While many of the scholarships consider academic achievement, there are also scholarships awarded based on what you are studying, where you are from or your personal circumstances.

If you are an international student commencing at RMIT you are eligible to apply for a Medibank Student Success Grant.

Foundation Studies

High achieving Foundation Studies students can apply for a Foundation Academic Scholarship

Higher degree by research

Commencing international Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students can apply for RMIT RMIT HDR Scholarships and Research Scholarships offered at a School or College level.

If you are an international student and:

  • Studying an Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
    and
  • Receive an offer from RMIT for an Associate or Undergraduate degree 

You are eligible to apply for a Medibank High Achiever International Scholarship or Medibank Excellence Scholarship.
